UI UX design services cover the research, structure and visual design that decide whether people can find what they need on your website or in your product, and whether they act once they find it. UX (user experience) design works out what users are trying to do, in what order, and where they get stuck. UI (user interface) design turns that into screens: layout, type, color, components and every state a screen can be in. We deliver both as one engagement, so the screens you approve are based on how your users behave rather than on a mood board.
This work sits inside our software development services, which means the people designing a screen also know what it takes to build it. You get research findings, wireframes, high-fidelity Figma files, a component library and a developer handoff that answers the questions engineers usually ask halfway through a sprint. If you are looking for UI UX design solutions because a site or app underperforms and nobody can say why, the sections below explain how we find the cause and fix it.
What Our UI UX Design Services Include
Most projects use some of these services, not all of them. A marketing site redesign leans on information architecture and UI design, while a SaaS product leans on user flows, prototyping and a design system. We scope each project around the problem you have.
| Service | What it involves | What it gives you |
|---|---|---|
| UX research and discovery | Stakeholder interviews, a GA4 and Search Console review, user interviews or surveys where you can give us access to users, and competitor walkthroughs. | A short list of the tasks users come to you for, and the points where they currently fail. |
| UX audit | An expert review of key pages or screens against usability heuristics, heatmaps and session recordings from Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar, and a WCAG 2.2 spot check. | A ranked issue list with screenshots, why each issue matters and the recommended fix. |
| Information architecture | Sitemap, navigation model, content grouping and card sorting where the structure is contested. | Menus and page groups that use your customers' words, which also helps search engines understand the site. |
| User flows and wireframes | Step-by-step flows for key tasks such as sign-up, checkout, booking or onboarding, then low-fidelity wireframes. | Agreement on what each screen must do before anyone debates colors. |
| Interactive prototypes | Clickable Figma prototypes of the main flows. | Something to test with users, or show to stakeholders and investors, before code is written. |
| UI design | High-fidelity desktop and mobile screens, including empty, loading, error and success states. | Screens developers can build without inventing the missing parts. |
| Design systems | Design tokens for color, type and spacing, components with variants, and usage notes. | Faster future work and a consistent interface as the product grows. |
| Accessibility review | Contrast, focus order, target sizes, form labels and error messages checked against WCAG 2.2 AA. | Fewer users locked out, and fewer surprises if accessibility is raised by a customer or regulator. |
| Usability testing | Moderated video sessions or unmoderated tests in Maze, usually 5 to 8 participants per round. | Evidence of where real people hesitate, collected before launch rather than after. |
| Developer handoff | Figma Dev Mode links, annotated specs, exported assets, tokens and a walkthrough call with your developers. | Fewer questions mid-build and fewer screens that ship looking different from the design. |
App projects follow the same method with platform conventions added. For iOS and Android interfaces specifically, see our mobile app design services.
How Our UI/UX Design Process Works, Week by Week
The timelines below are typical for a website with up to eight unique templates. A product with 20 to 30 screens usually takes 8 to 12 weeks because there are more flows to map and test.
- Discovery (week 1). A kickoff workshop to agree on business goals, the three to five tasks that matter most and how we will measure them. We take read access to GA4, Search Console and any heatmap tool you already run, and collect existing research, support tickets and sales call notes.
- Research and audit (weeks 1 to 2). We review analytics paths, watch session recordings, interview users or customer-facing staff, and walk through competitors. The output is a findings document that ranks problems by how many users they affect and how close they sit to revenue.
- Structure and wireframes (weeks 2 to 3). We draft the sitemap or screen inventory, user flows and grayscale wireframes. You review structure and content priority here, when changes are cheap.
- Visual design (weeks 3 to 5). We design two key screens first to agree on a visual direction, then roll that direction across every template or screen at desktop and mobile widths, with all component states.
- Prototype and test (weeks 5 to 6). We link the main flows into a clickable prototype and run a round of usability tests. Findings go into a short report, and we revise the designs before handoff.
- Handoff and build support (week 6 onward). We organize the Figma file for development, run a walkthrough with your engineers and stay available during the build to answer questions and review the staging site against the design.
UI UX Design Deliverables and How to Judge Them
A good UI/UX project leaves you with files you can use without us and a way to tell whether the design worked. These are the outputs you should expect:
- Research findings. A short document, not a slide deck of personas, listing what users try to do, where they fail and the evidence for each point.
- Sitemap or screen inventory. Every page or screen in scope, with its purpose and the content or data it needs.
- Wireframes and flows. Approved structure for each key task, kept in the same Figma file as the final UI.
- High-fidelity UI. Desktop and mobile layouts with every state designed, built from shared components rather than detached copies.
- Design system. Tokens, components and variants with usage notes, ready to map to code components in React, Liquid or your framework of choice.
- Test report. What participants did, where they struggled and what we changed as a result.
- Measurement plan. The GA4 events and funnel steps to watch after launch, so success is judged on data.
We do not promise conversion lifts, because results depend on traffic quality, offer and pricing as much as on screens. What we can measure is whether the design does its job: task completion and time on task in usability tests, form start-to-submit rates in GA4, fewer "how do I" support tickets, and accessibility checks that pass. You can compare these before and after launch.
UI UX Design Services Pricing
We price design work by scope rather than by the hour. A UX audit and a website design project are fixed price, a product design project starts from a base price that grows with the number of screens, and the design partner plan is a monthly fee for ongoing work. Cost is driven by the number of unique templates or screens, how much research is needed (recruiting your users takes longer than reviewing analytics), whether a full design system is included, how many platforms and breakpoints you need, and whether brand guidelines already exist.

UX Design Services vs UI Design: Which Problem Do You Have?
UX design services fix whether something works for users. UI design fixes how it looks and feels. Many teams ask for one when they need the other, so it helps to match the symptom to the discipline before you brief anyone.
| Symptom | Mostly a UX problem | Mostly a UI problem |
|---|---|---|
| Visitors land on the right page and still leave | Yes, if the next step is unclear or the content does not answer their question. | Sometimes, if the call to action is visually buried. |
| Users ask support how to do basic tasks | Yes. Flows, labels and navigation are the usual cause. | Rarely. |
| The product works but looks dated next to competitors | Rarely. | Yes. Type, spacing, color and component quality. |
| Every page looks slightly different | No. | Yes. You need a design system. |
| Mobile users abandon forms | Yes, if there are too many fields or steps. | Yes, if targets are small or the keyboard type is wrong. |
User experience design services and interface design overlap at the component level, which is why we run them together. A form with the right fields (UX) still fails if the error message appears off screen (UI).
UI UX Design Tools and File Standards
| Category | Tools |
|---|---|
| Design and prototyping | Figma, FigJam, Figma Dev Mode, Tokens Studio for Figma |
| Research and testing | Maze, Google Forms or Typeform for surveys, recorded video calls for moderated sessions |
| Behavior analytics | GA4, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Google Search Console |
| Accessibility | Stark for Figma, axe DevTools, WAVE, Lighthouse, manual keyboard and screen reader checks |
| Component handoff | Storybook, design tokens exported as JSON or CSS variables |
| Build targets | React and Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Shopify Liquid, WordPress, Webflow |
Every file is organized the same way: a cover page, a page per flow or template, a components page and a changelog. Components use auto layout and variants so developers can read spacing and states directly from Dev Mode.
UI UX Design Agency, Freelancer or In-House Designer?
All three can produce good work. The right choice depends on how much design you need, for how long, and whether you have someone to manage it.
| Option | Works well when | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Freelance designer | The scope is clear, such as a landing page or a set of screens, and you can direct the work yourself. | Research and accessibility are often skipped, and availability can disappear mid-project. |
| UI UX design agency | You need research, UI and handoff covered by one accountable team, with development nearby. | Agencies that design without asking about build cost, or that keep the source files. |
| In-house designer | Design work is continuous and tied to a product roadmap. | One person rarely covers research, UI, systems and testing equally well, and hiring takes months. |
| Design partner plan | You need a steady flow of new pages and features without a full-time hire. | It works best with a clear request queue and one decision-maker on your side. |
When you compare a UI UX design company with a freelancer, ask to see a full Figma file from a past project rather than finished screenshots. The file shows whether components, states and handoff notes exist, which is where most of the build cost is decided.
How UI/UX Design Affects Web Development, SEO and Conversion
Design decisions set development cost. A custom date picker, an animated mega menu or a layout that changes completely between breakpoints can each add days of front-end work. We flag these early and offer a cheaper pattern where the expensive one adds little for users. That is the practical difference between UI UX design and development services delivered together and design delivered in isolation.
Design also shapes search performance. Content hidden in carousels or behind tabs, navigation rendered only by JavaScript, missing heading structure and oversized hero videos all affect how search engines read and rank a page. We design with real heading levels, crawlable navigation and image sizes agreed in advance, so the web development team does not have to choose between the design and Core Web Vitals.
Conversion follows from clarity. Fewer form fields, honest labels, visible pricing or next steps, and trust details placed where doubt arises do more than color changes. When a site already has traffic and you want to test changes against it, our conversion rate optimization work picks up where the design leaves off.
Is AI Replacing UI UX Design Work?
No. AI speeds up parts of UI UX design, but it does not replace the judgment about what your users need. We use AI to summarize interview transcripts, draft copy variants for testing, generate placeholder content and produce first-pass layout ideas. Those save hours on routine tasks.
What AI cannot do is sit with your customers, notice the hesitation before they click, weigh a business constraint against a usability gain, or test with a screen reader user. Generated layouts also tend to look like every other generated layout, which is a problem when you need customers to remember you. Design for AI features is its own discipline too: products with AI assistants need clear loading states, ways to correct or undo an AI output, and honest messaging about what the system can and cannot do.
Common UI UX Design Mistakes We Find in Audits
- Navigation organized around the company, not the customer. Menu labels follow internal department names instead of the words customers search for.
- Missing states. Designs show the happy path only, so developers improvise empty, error and loading screens, and each one looks different.
- Forms that ask too much. Fields that sales "might need later" sit in front of every lead.
- Low-contrast text and small targets. Light gray text on white and tiny tap areas fail WCAG and frustrate older users on phones.
- Hero sections that say nothing. A large image and a vague slogan, with the actual offer pushed below the fold.
- Desktop-first design squeezed onto mobile. Tables and multi-column layouts that become unreadable on small screens.
- No design system. Five button styles and three grays, each added by a different person over the years.
- Dashboards that show everything. Every metric on one screen with no hierarchy, so users cannot see what changed or what to do next.
Why Choose 95 Solutions as Your UI UX Design Agency
- Senior-led. Mustafa leads every engagement. He has 11+ years in digital marketing and a BS in Computer Science, so design decisions are weighed against both conversion and build effort.
- We design products we use. We co-build AM Jarvis, a SaaS suite for Shopify and WooCommerce stores, and built the CMS that runs this website and Boiler Decoder. Choices like preview and undo on bulk edits are ones we have made for our own users.
- Design and build under one roof. Our developers review designs before handoff, which catches expensive patterns while they are still cheap to change.
- You own the files. Figma files live in your workspace or are transferred at handoff, along with tokens and assets.
- Hours that fit. Our working hours overlap the full US business day and UK business hours, and contracts are in USD from our US LLC.
Who Our UI UX Design Services Are For
A good fit
- SaaS companies with a working product whose onboarding, dashboards or settings confuse new users.
- Service businesses and ecommerce brands planning a redesign that should be based on how customers actually use the current site.
- Founders who need a clickable prototype to test an idea or show investors before committing to a build.
- Product teams with developers but no designer, who need a design system and a steady flow of screens.
Probably not a fit
- You need a logo and visual identity rather than screens. Start with brand identity design.
- You want a template site this week with no research or review rounds.
- You need specialist research at scale, such as large quantitative studies or lab testing with eye tracking. A dedicated research firm will serve you better.
Design projects often connect to other work. A site rebuild after a UX audit usually runs through our website redesign services, and campaign pages are handled by our landing page design team. Not sure where your site loses people? Request a free audit and we will point out the biggest usability problems first.
