An ecommerce marketing agency should make your store more profitable, not only busier. At 95 Solutions we plan search, shopping ads, paid social, email and on-site conversion work together for Shopify and WooCommerce brands, then judge every channel on what it adds to contribution margin after product cost, shipping, discounts and ad spend. Platform dashboards are useful, but each one claims credit for the same sale, so we build reporting that does not double count.
As an ecommerce growth agency, we work with direct-to-consumer brands that already have product-market fit and want to grow without handing over their accounts or signing a year-long contract. Our founder Mustafa has been Head of Marketing for a Florida-based resort wear brand since January 2016, and our team co-builds AM Jarvis, a SaaS suite for Shopify and WooCommerce stores. We see ecommerce from the merchant's side every day, not only from the agency side.
Our Ecommerce Marketing Agency Services
You can hire us as an ecommerce search engine marketing agency for SEO and Google Ads only, or for the full plan. Each service has its own page with the detail:
| Service | What it covers for a store |
|---|---|
| Ecommerce SEO | Collection and product page targeting, faceted navigation control, internal linking and structured data for products. |
| Shopify SEO | Shopify-specific fixes: duplicate product URLs inside collections, theme speed, metafield-driven content and app bloat. |
| Google Shopping ads | Feed optimization, Merchant Center health, Standard Shopping and Performance Max structure. |
| Ecommerce PPC | Search, Shopping and Performance Max managed to margin, with brand and non-brand reported separately. |
| Meta Ads | Prospecting and retargeting on Facebook and Instagram, creative testing and Conversions API setup. |
| Klaviyo email and SMS | Welcome, abandoned checkout, browse abandonment, post-purchase and winback flows, plus campaign calendars. |
| Conversion rate optimization | Product page, cart and checkout testing based on analytics and session recordings. |
| Analytics and tracking | GA4 ecommerce events, Google Tag Manager, server-side tracking and consent setup. |
| Shopify development | Theme work, app integration, speed fixes and migrations that marketing depends on. |
We work mainly on Shopify, Shopify Plus and WooCommerce, and we run marketing for stores on BigCommerce, Magento and custom platforms when we can get proper tracking and feed access. For Shopify-only brands that want the marketing side without the development side, our Shopify marketing service is the narrower option.
What Our Ecommerce Marketing Retainer Includes
Whichever channels you hire us for, the retainer includes the groundwork every store needs before budget can be trusted:
| Included | What it means for your store |
|---|---|
| Break-even targets by product group | Each campaign is judged against the ROAS your margins actually need, not a generic target. |
| Tracking reconciled to orders | Platform conversions checked against your store's orders, with duplicates and missing values fixed. |
| Feed and catalog upkeep | Merchant Center warnings, titles and custom labels reviewed monthly so Shopping stays healthy. |
| Brand and non-brand split | Reports that separate customers who already knew you from the new ones your spend actually found. |
| Creative testing plan | Structured rounds of new ads with one variable changed at a time, and a log of what won. |
| Monthly review with Mustafa | Blended results, new customer numbers and next month's plan agreed with the person who leads strategy. |
How We Run Digital Marketing for Ecommerce
- Margin and data audit (weeks 1 to 2). We start with your numbers: product costs, shipping, payment fees, discount levels and return rate by category. This gives us the break-even ROAS for each product group, which is the line every campaign is judged against.
- Tracking repair (weeks 2 to 4). We check GA4 ecommerce events (view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, purchase), Google Ads conversion setup and the Meta pixel and Conversions API. Duplicate purchases, missing values and broken consent signals are fixed before any budget moves.
- Feed and catalog cleanup (weeks 2 to 5). Product titles, product types, custom labels for margin tiers and Merchant Center warnings are sorted so that Shopping and Performance Max campaigns have clean inputs. Bad feeds waste more ad spend than bad bids.
- Channel plan (week 3). We decide where the next dollar goes: usually Shopping and search for demand capture, Meta for new customer acquisition, SEO for collection pages with steady search volume, and email for repeat purchases. You get a written plan with budgets and reasons.
- Weekly optimization (from week 4). Bids, search terms, creative, feed rules and email flows are reviewed every week. Meta creative is tested in structured rounds, and losing ads are paused on data, not taste.
- Monthly review (from the end of month 1). Once a month Mustafa reviews blended performance with you: total revenue against total marketing spend, new customer numbers and margin by channel. The next month's plan comes out of that meeting.
The Numbers an Ecommerce Agency Should Manage To
ROAS on its own is the most misleading number in ecommerce. Google and Meta both count the same order if a customer touched both, and retargeting campaigns claim sales that would have happened anyway. We still report platform ROAS, but decisions come from these:
- Marketing efficiency ratio (MER): total store revenue divided by total marketing spend. It cannot be double counted, so it is the check on every platform's claims.
- New customer acquisition cost: what you pay to win a first order. This decides how fast you can grow, and it is the number that brand search campaigns hide.
- Contribution margin: revenue minus product cost, shipping, fees, discounts and ad spend. A campaign with a high ROAS on low-margin products can lose money.
- Repeat purchase rate: the share of customers who order again. Email and SMS are judged on this, not on open rates.
If you want to check your own break-even point before talking to us, our ROAS calculator does the math from your margin.
Ecommerce deliverables in the first 90 days
- A margin and data audit with break-even ROAS for each product group.
- Purchase tracking reconciled across GA4, Google Ads and Meta, checked against store orders.
- A cleaned feed with margin-based custom labels and Merchant Center warnings resolved.
- Restructured Shopping, search and Meta campaigns, with brand and non-brand reported apart.
- Core Klaviyo flows live and a campaign calendar for the next quarter.
- A collection page plan ranked by search demand and margin, with the first pages updated.
- A live dashboard showing MER, new customer cost and margin by channel.
Success is the trend in those four numbers against your own starting point, not a promised multiple. We agree the baseline in month one and report against it every month after.
Ecommerce Advertising Agency Work: Google, Meta and Beyond
Google Shopping and Performance Max
Most store revenue from Google comes through Shopping ads, and Shopping runs on the product feed. We rewrite titles to lead with the terms people search, split products by margin using custom labels, and keep Merchant Center free of disapprovals. When Performance Max is used, we add brand exclusions and watch search term insights so the campaign earns credit for new demand, not your existing brand searches. Merchant Center suspensions for misrepresentation are a common emergency, and our guide to Merchant Center misrepresentation covers the usual causes.
Meta Ads
Meta is usually the main channel for finding new customers who do not yet search for your products. We set up the Conversions API alongside the pixel, with event_id deduplication so purchases are not counted twice, and we run creative in rounds: hooks, formats and offers tested one variable at a time. In our experience, user-generated video and creator content often beat polished studio shots for prospecting, so we plan shoots to test both.
Email, SMS and retention
Paid channels win the first order. Retention wins the profit. We build Klaviyo flows that fire on real behavior (browse, cart, checkout, purchase, lapse) and a campaign calendar tied to launches and promotions, so email revenue does not depend on discounting every week.
Consent and data quality
If you sell into the EEA, Google has required Consent Mode v2 for EEA traffic since March 2024, and missing consent signals reduce what Google Ads can measure and target. We set up consent banners, Consent Mode and server-side tagging where the volume justifies it, so your ad platforms keep learning from accurate data.
Ecommerce Agency Work on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento
The marketing channels are the same on every platform, but the platform decides how easily tracking, feeds and page changes can be done.
Shopify and Shopify Plus
Our main platform. Official sales channels for Google, Meta and TikTok sync the catalog, Klaviyo connects directly, and custom tracking belongs in customer events. The usual problems are duplicate pixels from apps, collection-aware product URLs and app scripts slowing the theme.
WooCommerce
WooCommerce runs on WordPress, which gives more control and more ways to break things. Feeds usually come from a plugin, tracking often needs Google Tag Manager with a data layer plugin, and caching or security plugins can block events. Speed depends heavily on hosting and plugin count, so we check both before blaming the ads.
BigCommerce and Magento
We run marketing for stores on BigCommerce and on Magento (Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce) when we can get feed and tracking access. Magento stores often have large catalogs and layered navigation that creates many filter URLs, so crawl control and feed quality matter most. As a Magento ecommerce agency on the marketing side, we work alongside your existing developers, or our own team when they have the access they need.

Why Choose 95 Solutions as Your Ecommerce Agency
- In-house ecommerce experience. Mustafa has run marketing for a US resort wear brand since 2016 and for a second fashion brand since 2024. He has owned the revenue number, not only the ad account.
- We build ecommerce software. Our team co-builds AM Jarvis, which includes a Google Merchant Center violation scanner and fixer, a bulk product importer with AI rewriting and bulk product editing with preview and undo. We test ideas on our own tools before we bring them to your store.
- Marketing and development under one roof. When a test needs a theme change or a tracking fix, our own developers ship it. An ecommerce marketing company without developers makes you wait on a separate dev agency.
- You own everything. Ad accounts, Merchant Center, analytics, Klaviyo and the store stay in your name. We work through access you grant.
- Short terms, transparent pricing. Monthly retainers or flat fees by ad spend band, published on our pricing page, with a minimum term of 3 months.
What to Look for in an Ecommerce Marketing Agency
Look for an ecommerce marketing agency that talks about margin before ROAS, works on your feed and store as well as your ads, and leaves every account in your name. These checks separate the best ecommerce marketing agency for your store from a general agency with a Shopify logo on its website.
- They ask for your costs. An agency that never asks for product cost, shipping and return rates cannot know your break-even ROAS.
- They split brand from non-brand. Reports that blend branded search into results hide whether any new customers are being found.
- They touch the catalog. Feed titles, custom labels and Merchant Center health are part of the job, not an extra.
- They can ship store changes. Product page tests and tracking fixes should not wait weeks for a separate developer.
- They have run a store themselves. Ask who on the team has owned an ecommerce revenue number, not only an ad account.
That last point matters most for DTC brands. A B2C ecommerce agency with in-house experience spots stock, seasonality and discount problems before they show up in the ad accounts.
Ecommerce Marketing Agency vs In-House Team vs Freelancers
| Option | Works well when | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| In-house marketer | One or two channels drive most revenue and someone can manage the hire day to day | One person rarely covers feeds, Meta creative, Klaviyo and tracking at a senior level |
| Freelancers by channel | You need one narrow job done, such as a Klaviyo flow build or a feed cleanup | Each freelancer reports their own channel's success, and nobody owns the blended number |
| Ecommerce marketing agency | Several channels need to share one budget, one margin target and one report | Quality depends on who actually runs the account, so ask who that will be |
A common setup for growing stores is an in-house person who owns brand, product and content, with an agency running paid media, feeds, tracking and email against shared targets.
Common Ecommerce Marketing Mistakes We Fix
- Brand search counted as growth. Branded campaigns show very high ROAS because those customers already chose you. We report brand and non-brand separately so you can see what is creating new demand.
- Discount-led email. Sending a code in every campaign trains customers to wait for one. We use flows, launches and content to drive repeat orders and save discounts for planned moments.
- One campaign for the whole catalog. Bestsellers take all the budget and new products never get tested. Custom labels and separate campaigns fix the split.
- Collection pages with no text or structure. Collection pages are usually the best ranking opportunity on a store. A short intro, clean filters and internal links often do more than new blog posts.
- Apps slowing the store. Every review widget, popup and upsell app adds scripts. We audit apps against revenue and remove the ones that do not pay for their load time.
How Long Ecommerce Marketing Takes to Work
Tracking and feed fixes show up in the first month because the ad platforms start optimizing on better data. Paid media changes usually take 4 to 8 weeks to settle as campaigns re-learn. SEO work on collection pages typically shows movement in 3 to 6 months, depending on your domain history and competition. Email flows start producing revenue as soon as they go live.
What decides the ceiling is outside our control as much as inside it: product margins, stock availability, pricing against competitors, reviews and how quickly you can ship creative and new products. We tell you plainly when the limit is the offer and not the marketing. We do not promise rankings or a fixed return, and you should be wary of any agency that does.

- Stores that want paid, organic, email and development under one plan
- Founders who want to keep full ownership of accounts and data

How Ecommerce Marketing Agency Pricing Works
Ecommerce marketing is priced per service, so you only pay for the channels in your plan. SEO and email are monthly retainers with a 3-month minimum term. Paid media management is a flat fee by monthly ad spend band, with a percentage of spend above the top band. Tracking builds, feed cleanups and store development are fixed-price projects. The main cost drivers are catalog size, ad spend, the number of markets you sell in, how much creative and email production you need, and how much development the store needs each month. Every plan is shown on our pricing page.
Fashion and apparel brands should also read our fashion marketing agency page, and software companies our SaaS marketing page. For other sectors, go back to industries we serve. When you are ready, request a free ecommerce marketing audit and we will review your tracking, feed and top campaigns. We reply within one business day to book a short call, and afterwards you get a written scope with the fixes we would make first, the channels we recommend, the order of work and the monthly cost.
